Remarks

all in all the college gave me very good and memorable memories of my life especially of my college life. i miss teachers and their frank behaviors, the friends, campus, events and how fun it was to be around. and obviously the academic improvement and growth it gave me is something i am never going to forget.

Course Curriculum Overview

since my specialization is in geography, the syllabus is very briefed and detailed about the concepts related to the geography and the important topics required for my course. the facilities provided through teachers and library also helped in maintaining an organized syllabus.

Placement Experience

faculty staff and the placement wing present in our college makes sure to prepare the students from the very start for the hiring process but mostly to the final year students and this practice helps the students very evidently and results are that our seniors some of them are posted at a very good and higher post today.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure is quite simple and feasible here. it is divided and is different course wise. talking about my geography programme the fee structure for my course is, i had to pay 3,470 per year which makes the total of 10,410

Campus Life

the college makes sure to upgrade its list of events every year and they use to come up with the new workshop or seminar or an event, even the industrial visit every year. sometimes it was the awareness camps or the donation camps, even the celebration of the festivals and the cultural events too including freshers.

Admission

the college falakata admit students on the basis of 10+2 marks obtained by the students. the release and application form, i filled it with all the spaces filled and submitted the documents that was asked to do so, and later submitted it.

Faculty

the faculty of my college was very experienced and always is up for teaching. besides the course they also shared some real time experience they had in life related to the course that helps us a lot in understanding the stream.

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

They provide you with various oppertunities like exposure visits, seminar , worshops, etc.

Dislikes

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

Study pressure is not that much it will be sufficient to stu61 months before final exam
No strict college there is not compulsory to wear college uniform
Faculty are good they are supportive helpful

Dislikes

College campus is small infrastructure is not good
Placement and internship opportunities is very less
Number of students in each batch is more

Curricullum is quite ok crowd of students are more coding culture should be introduced need of improvement of infrastructure as well in my batch 2023 to 2027 there is total 3 exam in each semester including end sem and 2 test

Likes

Faculty is really good and helping they do help !
Labs are taken on time and is made clear to us very well
Teacher are very good and friendly for us

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Nothing as much , some little stuffs that are everywhere nowadays in college

Exams are generally spaced well throughout the smemstwr allowing adequate time for preperation , how ever the frequenxy can sometimes be overwhelming particulary during peak study periods , but the diffulty level isnt that concerning and they are easy

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Placement Experience:

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.

You need a minimum 60% score for eligibility. You need to fill up forms in December or June and you get the application by simply writing the course name and college name. Here you don't get and reservation benefits. The time is short I think so and they need to give us about 3 hours for the exam....Read More
