MY HONEST OPINION

Honestly, this course is one of the easiest courses anyone can do, where the curriculum is largely based on practical and theoretical knowledge. It has four main components: food production, food and beverage, 3. front office 4. accommodation.

There are plenty of appointments and job opportunities. There are a lot of on-campus interviews and the college will get a job for every student. Since I am in my second year, the college arranged my internship in Mumbai where I live. I got an internship at Novotel in Mumbai, which is a very good hotel property.

Fee structure is semester-wise. Fee structure First semester - Rs. 68,350 Second Semester - Rs. 42,200 Third Semester - Rs. 57,950 Fourth Semester - Rs. 43,350 Fifth Semester - Rs. 45, 800 Sixth Semester - Rs. 39,250.

Many events are celebrated in our college. Let me tell you about the main activities of Theme Dinner, Catfish, and Fandango. The theme dinner is an event that dictates the specific theme of the meal, and the students organize the entire event. Catfest is a cultural event where students showcase their talents. Fandango is a food program where students set up various food stalls in the college and do business with tourists and locals. The college hosts many sports.

My entrance test for admission to this college was NCMCET JEE. Admission is based on the rank you received. I got 4307 rank. Once the results are online. There are 3 rounds in total. After selection, I submit some essential documents.

College faculty have been very helpful. It is a well-educated faculty with a lot of experience in the hotel industry. There are 2 HODs in college. The principal is also very supportive. He also promotes sports along with practice. The faculty mainly speaks English, Hindi, and Malayalam. Some of the senior faculty are alumni of IHM Mumbai and IHM Thiruvananthapuram. The role of counselors is given to the faculty in the classrooms where students can share their problems with them.
