Life as a Medical Student

KPC College is good and I'll recommend the college to any one interested in the medical field. The college is good in terms of academics, infrastructures, management etc. You won't find any complaint about the Institute.

The course is a three-year full-time post graduate course approved by the Medical Council of India. As it is a PG course, the syllabus is too vast. Examinations are conducted at the right time. During examination, most days seem hectic. Practicals and seminar sessions too are given.

As it is a post graduation course, we're paid. We're paid an amount of Rs.50000. Right after the course we could join either in any private or Government hospital. Also with an MD, one could start their own hospital or clinic without any external aid.

The college actively organises celebrations along with academics. There ia special celebration on Independence Day, Republic Day, International Yoga Day and so on. Also we, students, are encouraged to participate in many of the programs organised by the College. We are also permitted to participate in Inter-collegiate events.

The fee structure of KPC College is expensive but it assures Job opportunity soon after the completion of studies. Students are paid, but there is a huge amount as fee. It is about 15lakhs per year. There are also scholarship and loan facilities for the deserving students.

There is no Gender inequality in the campus. Everyone is treated equally. There is solution for every problem. The management takes care of the overall well being of each student. No one is kept apart from anything. Unity fills the campus.

Yes I've opted for hostel and there is nothing negative about the hotel life there. We are provided with every necessary requirement. Though there is a problem in the quality, my overall opinion about hostel life is positive. We're happy and enjoys each moment there.

Yes there is an alumni network that works actively. We're blessed with a bunch of experienced senior students who're doctors now and they help us in every possible manner. Their friendly approach has always increased our confidence and knowledge.

Admission in KPC College is straightforward and is on the basis of NEET PG scoreboard. It was also on the basis of MBBS certificate from a recognized Medical College. The completion of a one-year rotating internship too is mandatory. I had all these necessary requirements and thus attained admission. After that a counselling session too was there by the college authorities.

The faculty of KPC College are well qualified and experienced. They are too good in imparting knowledge to the students. Their teaching skills are so helpful as they give their best. Their dedication and sincerity has always inspired us to learn better.
