Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is vast as MBBS. As it is a paramedical course, there are a number of subjects to study along with practicals and Viva. Exams are up-to-date without any delay. Students need to work hard to get good marks and it is a difficult task.
Placement Experience
There is no particular placement facility available for the students. After completion of the course, they have to join either a private hospital or any post graduation course. Students are given a Stipend of Rs.20000.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is a four year course and the number of seats too is limited. Thus the fee structure is quite expensive. It is about 3.45 lakhs per year. For those who cannot afford the fees, there is loan available from certain banks.
Campus Life
In the year I joined the course, the number of girls seemed to be more than the number of boys. There is no political party alignment in the College and thus it offers a very peaceful atmosphere for the students. There is no Gender Inequality and Sexual orientation. Proper laboratory facility too is there.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I've opted for hostel and is satisfied by the functioning of it. The hostel provides us with all basic requirements. We are given much freedom, proper study tables, ventilated rooms and good quality food. Also we have various celebrations to get rid of the hectic syllabus.
Alumni/Alumna
We could approach the senior students whenever we're in need. They are friendly and helpful. They are willing to teach us the difficult portions and helps us by sharing their notes as well as experiences.
Admission
As I found it difficult to get an admission for MBBS course and as the syllabus is vast, I chose Bsc Medical Laboratory Technology as my course in HIMSR, New Delhi. Admission was granted through an Entrance exam conducted by the college. Candidates were selected on the basis of the merit list prepared by the Institute.
Faculty
The college has got one of the best faculties to train the students. They are helpful and supportive. Students are free to approach them whenever they are in need. During practicals too teachers offer helping hand to them.
