Remarks

South Asian University Delhi is the best for research work and it is beneficial for the interested ones. A brilliant faculty makes it SAU a great intellectual base with outstanding facilities. The campus also has a multicultural environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being a research-focused university, SAU currently offers research and postgraduate programmes. The international students also take a great advantage with the research methodology of the university.

Placement Experience

3.5

The university does not provide with professional courses and thus, there is a lack of placement opportunities in this field. But, as an integrated part of the SAARC countries, it does have an opportunity to offer a work in the field of international relations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Annually, the fee structure for the course of International relations is quite good enough. It is INR 1.32L with the facilities that SAU provides to its students for a better future. It can vary with the provided scholarships.

Campus Life

SAU always keeps an eye on the extracurricular activities. Multiple events are being organised related to studies as well as extracurricular activities. Several workshops are also organised with the educational ideas for the near future.

Hostel Facilities

SAU have excellent Wi-Fi connectivity, great labs and classrooms with air-conditioned facilities and also a multicultured library. The quality of the food in the mess is far better than the canteen. The hostel has a common room with TV, fridge and a microwave, and washing machines. They also provide medical facilities having insurance of upto 1.5 lacs.

Admission

Known of its systematic and smooth process of admission, SAU has not been much of a difficulty with the admissions. I had 50%+ aggregate marks in my bachelor's degree under North Bengal University. SAU held an entrance university test. I cleared it and I was granted my admission here.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of SAU is highly qualified and very helpful to their students. The teachers have practiced professionally in their respective fields. They are also very helpful and are always open to their students about any matter regarding the studies and as well as the daily life.

Reviewed on Dec 10, 2025(Enrolled 2013)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

As I am 1st year student i don't know much about it but most probably placement starts in third year. Well known companies reach out to our college for placement. Avg package would be around 6-7 lpa. 80% of our students easily get placed. My plan is to open a business in my upcoming future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was studying, students were doubling down to study Software engineering, no matter which stream they belong too. But now, Electronics and Communication has become an important area to study as it holds promosing carreer options in the age of AI where we need Chips and hardware design, server management. People in mechanical engineering can excel if they focus on building something rather than just studying. In order to prepare for real world applications, one has to do a lot of things rather than sticking to only one persuit. I don't have much to suggest something in course carriculam and this college has best teaching methods regardless what they are taught. Students have ample time to do things they like in every semister. Studying for nearly 2 weeks before sessional exams and 1 month before final exams is enough and rest of the time can be dedicated into building something important.
