Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is detailed and well-thought. Students are taught about every aspect of horticulture. Since, it is a 4-year course, the exams are conducted on semester basis and aggregated grades are reflected at the end of every semester.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are quite less. They organize a Path Finder event where the students and companies meet every year for placement opportunities. But once the course is over, the students have a detailed knowledge about the horticulture sector and have a wide scope in their respected field. We students are taught in such a manner that the interviews can be cracked easily.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is feasible and did not burn a hole in my pocket at the time of admission. Every year, we have to pay Rs.28,475/-. This fees is exclusive of the hostel fees, library fees, and sports fees. To help out those students who can't pay, the college has a scholarship program.
Campus Life
We have various extra-curricular activities like sports meet and cultural events. Various days related to horticulture are celebrated in the college in which there is an active participation from every student.
Admission
The admission procedure is quite simple. The application form is available on the official website. A common entrance exam is conducted afterwards and students are selected on the merit of that exam. They should have already done their bachelor's degree in Horticulture or another relevant course.
Faculty
The faculty is well-read and has a great grip on their subject. They know what and how to teach in every lecture and we are also provided with notes during our lectures so that we can study easily and quickly.
