Remarks

The institute can beat major institutes in the country. The faculty and the education level of the institute was par excellence. However, it lacks only at one point which was its placements. The campus life and other facilities are commendable.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum lacked some points which affected me in the future. On the other hand, the curriculum was beneficial in many ways. This was because of the tie ups around the country and DRDO labs. This profited us in the research field.

Placement Experience

The placements was the sensitive point of the institute. It did not provide enough placement opportunities to the students. However, the job opportunities outside the institute were guided and informed well to the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was feasible. For the first year, it is around Rs.145, 000 and for the second year, Rs.130, 000. The institute offered scholarships to the deserving candidates which made it easy for some. I faced no difficulty while getting scholarship.

Campus Life

The regular events were organized by the institute like Republic day, various festivities etc. Every event or activity brought a grand grandeur to the institute. I participated in many college activities and fests.

Admission

The eligibility for admission was graduation and clearance of GATE. The students were informed well about the admission process prior which brought no complications. I was well prepared for the admission process and marked my seat easily.

Faculty

The faculty or the staff of the institute was highly professional and maintained its decorum. The students were taught with complete discipline. Even the minute of doubts were cleared by the teachers.

Placement Experience:

Normally from third semester student become eligible campus placements but most usually take placements in fourth semester or fifth semester The percentage of getting placements are about 60% The highest package per company usually was ?80,000 per month and the average is around 20,000 Per month My plan is to get a job of a construction firm for about one year so that I can collect good amount of experience and they will hire me because I am passout from this college because this is one of the most reputed college after one year or two year, I will try for government exams or some private companies like Gautam farm, et cetera

The facilities are too good in that area , this college is reputed since my parents young age . All the teachers are well educated in those subjects, they even wrote books we can get from Amazon, they are experienced teachers.

Placement Experience:

The students who are appearing for the 7th semester end term examination are eligible for the campus placement drive , eligibility varies as per the companies eligibility criteria, main factors are CGPA score of the particular student. There are many companies who visited the campus for placement drive but the main companies who visited for campus placement drive are : NRL( Numoligorh Refinery Limited) ,ONGC( oil natural gas corporation) etc , the highest package offered was 24 lpa by NRL and the offer was got by 8 students and the average package of our college is 7lpa approx

Assam University is a good University

Placement Experience:

The placements are okay okay. Not very good companies come to recruit students of final year. Only MBA students get a high package salary in a good company. Other departments don't get these much of placements as compared to MBA.
