Remarks

Sarguja University is a good place to pursue your desired degree with an appropriate amount of fees. But there are many services and facilities to be improved on the university campus such as hostel infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is divided based on part I and part II. However, the final examinations are taken accordingly as the final exams of part I will be taken in the first year while part II final exams are taken in the second year.

There are somewhat chances of the placements and job opportunities however, they can be avail with required skills and knowledge. The university provides several internship opportunities as a part of the curriculum for every student.

There are many social events celebrated which include health camps, awareness camps, and many other on-campus events. Also, the students organize several seminars presenting their views and skills to the rest of the university thus motivating every student.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite an average as one-year university fees are 30,295. There are several options for paying the fees as per installments as well as in parts. However, before the final exams the installments should be completed.

Campus Life

There are several extra-curricular activities offered by the university as well as some organized by the government. There are facilities of laboratory where some experiments are going on and at the sports complex students play various games in their free time.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility provided by the university is quite on average and have fewer facilities. However, there are many options for pg rooms near the university campus. Many university students prefer to live in pg room rather than a hostel.

The faculty of the university was quite an experience one and they are very strict but more supportive. All the teachers provide their free time in talking extra lectures thus solving every doubt of every student who approaches them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The relevancy is not at par to be fair. There are many things which are theoretical but are not applicable in real life which makes our course a little out of date in comparison to real life practices.

Placement Experience:

Every year, good law firms from tier 1 and 2 classes and corporate companies take placements from our college. The students become eligible for placement from the 9th semester itself. In my batch, every student who registered for placement got placed in a law firm. I didn't opt for placement as I have other plans of doing a Master's further after my graduation.

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel
