If you want to nurture your crafts and designing skills then this college is for you. You will get lot of skills and knowledge from here. I enjoyed a lot here and also college taught me lot of valuable things. Undoubtedly this is the best college for crafts and designing in Rajasthan.
Course Curriculum Overview
The duration of the Integrated M. Voc. Is 5 years. There was an end semester practical exam in ending of each semester on front of external examiners. The college had a big premises, large central Library with plenty of books and different fashion and art galleries. I enjoyed my 5 years of life here.
Placement Experience
College provide 100% placement opportunities. Different well known fashion designing companies visited the college every year. All the students from our batch placed in different fashion industries such as Raymond, Zara including me.
College Events
Events were the soul of the college. Different annual events arranged by the college every year and students participated in it and show their skills. Also republic and independence day as well as all the festivals were celebrated in Indian Institute of Crafts and Design - [IICD].
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of the college is expensive but feasible as compared to other college. 3 lakhs per year was the fees of the college. Hence different scholarships were available for talented students and on category basis. Installment option to pay the fees was also available here.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities were the unforgettable part of the IICD. Different fashion designing galleries and exhibitions arranged regularly here to enhance the creativity and innovative of the students. Workshops on fashion designing advancements and guests lectures were also held in the college frequently.
Admission
Indian Institute of Crafts and Design - [IICD] is a popular Institute in Rajasthan for crafts and Designing. I passed my 12th and admitted here for M. Voc. In fashion designing. The admission process was quite difficult. First I filled the entrance examination form on the college website. Then the entrance exam and personal interview taken by the college. The performance in both this examination merit list published. And finally I got the admission in Indian Institute of Crafts and Design - [IICD].
Faculty
The faculty of the college was too energetic and supportive. It was too helpful and always available for us to implement our creativity and ideas. Each faculty had about 10 years of experience and they were just perfectionist in their field.
