Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is amazing and very interactive a lot of the learning process is very technology backed , the course is updates as per the on going and latest industry trends, we have examinations twice an year.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good at my college as we have well-established Placement network the overall placement rates every year touch around 85 to 90%. Many national and international companies visit the campus every year to hire students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure for my course has been kept flexible and feasible so as to ensure the maximum participation by students the total fees for here for my course is rupees ?1.18 Lakhs/ year . Students also get the option to finance the studies by way of scholarships, taking into account the IICD advantage the fees is justifiable.

Fees and Financial Aid

A number of scholarships are provided at IICD, the amount of scholarship can range from 50% of the tuition fees to 20%, while applying to the college the students have to fill a separate form for the scholarship.

Campus Life

The activities at my college are amazing, the college life is stunning and fabulous, we have a number of cultural fests all round the year. Students from all over the work come at IICD so it provides you international exposure aswell.

Admission

The admissions to IICD are no joke, you have to go through a multi level process, the first step being an entrance exam, the next being an conceptual test and the final being the personal interview. I cracked all the three stages and managed to get admission into this amazing college.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is really good and is very helpful the professors are always accessible and are very experienced. They are strict in the class and maintain discipline in the classes, the teachers teach with new and innovative ways of teaching.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement after the 6th semester.Parle G, Mahindra, John Deere and many other companies visit here.the highest package is 150000 rupees per year and the minimum package is 300000 rupees per year. Around 60 percent of children are placed. My plan is to do a government job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the modern and traditional aspects of pharmacy. But the real world application seems a bit weak. There's less time spent of product making, introduction to industries, communication skills. But they do prepare you academically for higher education and compititive exams. Teaching methods could have been better rather than just recommending books and writing notes on board. Exams are held frequently. Students have to prepare for both theory and practicals including vivas. I chose this course and college because I had to stay here with my parents and b pharm seemed like a good career option.

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

The procedure for admission remains to be the same for all the courses. It begins with filling up the registration form and paying Rs. 1750/- for its submission.
