Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum is very well drafted according to the nmc courriculum. It includes various companies for skill development, a mandatory bls course is provided to all students, Aetcom modules for ethicss devlopment are also included
Fees and Financial Aid
In 2022 the fees for mbbs costed 15 lakh per year for 4.5 years which was later increased to 19.5 lakh per year in 2023 Security fee of 1 lakh is taken on admission College provides annual scholarship of 750 ruppes to meritorious students (above 60%) Fee remains same for all categories and students No other charges were taken during admission
Campus Life
There is almost no social life in this college , rarely fest and events are held. There is a student council who organised painting and dance competition sometimes. The college life gets really monotonous and boring
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are not very good according to the fees. Usually the college charges 2,93,000 per year andess charges are 66,000 per year , hostel food is average and quality is not healthy at all. The facility in rooms include a bed a table and almirah along with free electricity.
Admission
As compared to other colleges Mahatma Gandhi offers very good academics and training facilities for students. The admission process of our college is decent , seat are alloted on the basis of ranks in neet examination I applied to K S Hegde medical college but didn't choose the college due to language issues
Faculty
40 students are alloted 1 mentor who monitor the progress of students. Usually each deptarment has 11-15 faculty members and teachers who are vet enthusiastic and friendly . Also great at teaching. There are usually 3 internals and 1 University examination per year
Interview Experience
No the college is allottedthrough the nmc counselling you just have to apply via the nmc site and select your preferred college. The process of admission is mostly online so there were no problems in admission.
Night Life
Library is 24×7 open , There is however no night life in campus . The girls hostel closed around 9 pm the boys hostel in open but all public spaces close around 9-10 pm There is nbc and burgerfarm outlets in campus.
