16 Mar, 2026 IICD Jaipur Admission 2026 is open for BDes, MDes, and PG Diploma courses till March 31. The admit card and question paper will be available on April 5, and responses must be submitted by April 20, 2026. Read news.

Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur is an autonomous institute established in the year 1997. It is affiliated to Rajasthan ILD Skills University. Presently, it is running Undergraduate, Integrated Post-graduate, Postgraduate programs in areas of crafts & design. Admissions are offered on the basis of an Entrance Exam conducted by the institute. Students of this institute get ample career opportunities in well-reputed organizations after completion of the course. 

IICD Jaipur is accreditated by NAAC and approved by UGC. IICD Jaipur Admissions

Indian Institute of Crafts and Design conducts an entrance exam for providing admission to the programs. Applicants qualifying in this test need to further appear in the interview. The final selection depends upon the candidate’s performance in the interview round.

  • Girls Hostel: The institute offers a well-furnished girl’s hostel with all the amenities and modern facilities including air-conditioned rooms, RO and water cooler with the supply of hot and cold water, medical facility, yoga trainer, psychologist, Wi-Fi, and fire frightening equipment on all floors.
  • Sports: The institute offers spacious grounds that are laid out into play areas for Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, etc. with the belief that sports play a vital role in shaping an individual’s personality.
  • Health care: The institute offers medical aid on campus for students ensuring that the doctors visit on a regular basis to address the health of students. 
  • Internet & Wi-Fi: The institute offers 50MBPS internet connection and students can access the internet facility at any point in time in the institute. 
  • Canteen: There is a spacious cafeteria providing hygienic and tasty food at very economic rates. The cafeteria has a seating capacity of 120 students providing food throughout the semester. 
  • Library: The institute has a fully-furnished Knowledge Resource Centre with a digital access facility and is spread across an area of 1800 sq. Feet. It consists of 4061 books in total in which it has a collection of Research journals, different titles, newspapers, magazines & periodicals, and E-resources.

The hostel has well ventilated air cooled rooms, RO and water cooler facility with an abundant supply of hot and cold water and 24 hours backup. Besides this, the hostel also provides medical facilities, yoga training and a psychologist.

Ans. Yes, the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design has a grievance redressal cell that ensures the expeditious disposal of student’s grievances within one week of the receipt of the same. The cell has to submit the monthly report of the grievances to the Director General, IICD.

Ans. In case, if a student wants to withdraw his admission from the college, the total security money will be refunded to the student. For withdrawal process, the student has to submit a written application to the Deputy Registrar of IICD alongwith the original fee receipt. Refund is calculated from the date of the receipt of application in the institute
