My Journey at NIAT Jaipur

There are proofs that even colleges such as NIT / IIIT's have the practical work and studies starting in their 4th semester . And learning only theory for two years. And also looking at the traditional colleges the same old curriculum , boring old faculty , no practical learning, But here at NIAT the curricllum is advanced keeps on updating and evolving so we have to never worry about the curriculum. Also along with the theories their are practise sessions and mentoring sessions that helps us learn and adapt to real world problems faster. Actually one main problem here is we dont get time. classes are from 8:50am- 12:10pm and than 1pm-4:20pm .. it becomes hectic for us to reach home at 5pm and study or the next dday. exams happen in an honest manner eith prooer preperation leaves.

As promised by NIAT sutudents are eligible for internships after the very first semester buut right now we are in emester 2 and non of us have gotten an internship till now. NIAT JAipur also promises that they have a placemnet network of almost 3000+ companies so that no student get unplaced. everybosy gets a job. NIat Jaipur is recently opened and came in working there is no atch that have passed ot yet .

So basically fee strcture is simple 1 lakh rupees per semester tution fee and 80,000 for my hostel fee .. Initially to confirm or seat we need to pay 20,000/- that is added to the tution fee later and they keep of taking the fee in chnks and as you college days come near one counsellor calls you clears the discussion of money that we have paid this much and are required to may this much more amount . So only for the first semester the fee is 1,27,000/- rupees forttion fee and 90,000/- rupees for hostel the 10,000 /- extra on hostel fee will be returned after 4 years (this is the security fee). So initially during conselling i was told that my 4 years fees would be 12 lakhs buut also if i pay earlier a discount of 1 lakh is given.Than for scholarship in accordance to 12th boards score is also given and so my 4 year fee after scholarship is 8 lakhs i.e. 1 lakh rpee per semester.

My campus life is a bit questionable since my hostel is 4kms away from the college. But as off howmuch i know this campus it is nice open it has cricket ground volleyball court basketball court footballground ,, So many sports a person could choose from. Specifically in NIAT there are 8 clubs led by the students themselves. For now we are the first batch of NIAT jaipur so we have less knowledge about the fests or annual fests buut the orientation and freshers were quite good . also there are two libraries in thiss college but most of our notes and even 100% of or work is onn laptop so we dont have to worry aboout the notes ever Despite of having the best cuurriclum exxtra curriculums like E-sport art n craft jamming sessions too happen within the campus , bonfire nights too.

I applied to many colleges like CTAE Udaipur , MBM Jodhpur , Some colleges of GUJARAT .. LNMIIT... I got confirmed addmission in CTAE udaipur and LNMIIT jaipur. I chose this college because one main reason is again the ccurriculum so advanced .I also didnt go to LNMIIT Jaipur becuase fees there is very high . One main reason i didnt made to other colleges is becuuase my jee percentile was 91.32 and with that i dont think so i could have gotten a good college. For NIAT addmission process is simple... First we have to give NAT exam which is an easy exam .. than we have to attend a online google meet..After than interview happpens and if we get selected we have several cunselling sessions. Only accepted exam for this college will be NAT . The overall addmission process was smooth

So faculties here are the best one . The teachers are yong , skilled , highly trained. We can easily ask or doubts to or faculties during the classes and even after th classes . they are kind in nature , moreover many of our teachers are IITians themselves. And also the student-to-faculty ratio is also fair. The faculty that i like the most is Mr. Rahul .. He teaches s C++/Python basically he's ou backend instructor and he is very interactive in the classroom. And actually all the teachers teaching here are the best , its hard to choose any one out of them. There is no faculty i woud say i hate . All of them are the best. Well every semester there will be three exams Mid-Term-1 , Mid-Term-2(Open Book), Semester end taking about the mid terms they are easy to moderate while end terms are a bit trikcy. and course curriculum changes every 90 days so it sttays relevant throughout.

so i oftern visit the cafeteria , the canteen , i often find solace in libraries that are often very quite. but my hostel lies outside the campus so i havent experienced the night time life at niat jaipur. these places are best for relaxing enjoying eith ur friends or sometimes just escaping the mess food. my hostel timing are like 6:30 pm the last time to enter the hostel .. after that parents are ccontacted. i havent explored jaipur yet so not so sure but inside the campus one can enjoy roaming freely arouunf the campus.
