Best optometry college in Hyderabad

If you want to be a good optometrist this is the college for you! The positive points areas I have mentioned that it is the oldest and reputed college in Hyderabad and the faculty here is very well experienced. The negative areas are they do not have fun-filled extra activities for the students.

In the medical field, the study should be practical as well as theoretical. Course curriculum here makes it easier for you to understand optometry. It is a perfect combination of the practical and theoretical framework. Practical labs are given much importance as it requires practice with hands.

After finishing off the course you can get positioned in the institute itself. The college has many hospitals in Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar where students can get placed. This is a respected institute you can get placed and have a job anywhere you want. If I want to talk about internships they are offered in the college itself.

Only a few events are celebrated in this college not much. They have nothing to offer you in terms of events and extracurricular activities. Only a few workshops are conducted which are about the course and related to the field of the medical profession.

The duration of this course is 1 year the fee should be paid one time during the admission. Total fees for the course of optometry is 1.6lakhs. I submitted the fee at the time of admission. It will be paid when your admission is confirmed by the college.

They do not have tremendous extracurricular activities like sports meets, college fests etc, but they do organise workshops and seminars from moment to moment for academic objectives. Periodic eye check-up camps are also organised which are great for discovering and having some entertainment.

I heard it from a friend that this college is one of the best and reputed college in Hyderabad to study optometry. I applied for this course and faced the entrance test which is college-based. Then got selected in the merit list and got a call for an interview. After clearing the interview I was allotted the seat.

Faculty in this college is proficient and skilled. Teachers here have tears of experience in practising optometry and are well-known eye specialists. Teachers even after the class are constantly willing to counsel us.
