NIH - a journey to homeopathy

The course curriculum followed the structure set by Central Council of Homoeopathy.They were the ones that set up what and how we studied. It was a practical, hands-on course whcih lasted for three years.

With an MD there were many career opportunities that were presented to me as MD doctors are undoubtedly in demand. Government hospitals, Private Super Speciality Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Medical College, Bio-medical Companies are some of the places were some of the areas where I applied to work. I currently work for a privately owned clinic.

Most MD courses fees were 38,267 rupees per year and a total of almost 1 lac rupees. The fees for the course were quite reasonable considering the exposure and experience we recieved throughout the course.

We had many seminars and workshops to work on our skills and train ourselves. There also were many activities and programs set up by the college to raise awareness on many social issues we face in the society these days.

Hostels are available to the students in first come first serve basis. There are many rooms but you need to make sure you check the availability. There are many facilities in the hostels like spacious rooms, recreational rooms etc.

For my MD course we were required to sit for NEET PG entrance exam. That with my graduation results were verified by the university. They looked if i was qualified and sound to attend the course and then contacted me about the admission procedure.

Dr. Dilip Panakkada is an amazing head of department. He made sure we had access to him to discuss a case or clear doubts or learn something you don't know. He led the department with a iron-fist and made sure we felt welcomed. He also helped us a lot with our dissertations.
