Course Curriculum Overview

In the duration of three years, we were taught everything. Usually people have a very mainstream conception of hotel management but it's not limited to that. We were given theoretical lessons as well.

Placement Experience

After completion of Bachelors, we got placed in five star hotels as managers, chefs or whatever our specializations is. Taj, Le Meridien, ITC and Grand are some of the hotels which have frequently recruited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The first year fees for the course is Rs 1,45,000. It is expensive but all the facilities and even the accommodation is provided. Also IIHM is a reputed institution which demands such fees because exposure is there.

Campus Life

We usually had our own college spots to have fun and we even went on college trips with our groups. Apart from that various webinars have also been organized for us to take a deep look into the hotel industry.

Admission

Admissions to the college is based on one entrance exam which is conducted throughout and that is IIHM- Echat. It is one course which has nothing to do with the marks obtained in senior secondary examinations.

The faculty members are really qualified and experienced and Usually they are the ones in the interview panel as well. One good thing was that the sessions were made Usually interesting and interactive for us.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too

Placement Experience:

From 6 semesters, students are eligible to get placements. Many companies visit and take campus placements.The average placement for civil engineering is 8-9 lakhs. Highest package was 20 lakhs and 10 out of 100 students get campus placement and others get placement after the college.

NIT Goa Review

Placement Experience:

The college placements are good and the college provides really very good packages. The college has a record of 100% placement and all thanks to the college placement committee as we have to register our detail with the college placement committee to take part in the placement drive of the college. The placement committee plays every crucial role in providing a good placement as they guidees us in each round of placement. The highest package for the batch was around 20 LPA and the average package was approx 9.50 LPA.

GREAT ENVIRONMENT

Admission:

After the 12th board exam, I answered the Medical Entrance Test, Meet Exam. Goa got the best score and the 13th rank. Admission was awarded on the basis of merit. She entered the first round. The percentage of 12th boards is not calculated but must be at least 50% to qualify

Admission:

I Cleared JEE mains based on st category. You need to apply for the college online The admission starts in July. This course has a large number of jobs and is becoming more important in future. The institute is easier to access from my house, it is also a national level college.

College canteen could and should be improved. There have been many complaints regarding this and the college doesn't take any action. ACs have now been installed in labs.

It's a pretty decent college post the vision 2020 updates

Remarks:

The campus has definitely improved a lot since I joined because of the expansion project. From new hostels to academic building to new research facilities. Everything is on the rise and definitely commendable.
