IIHM South Goa Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Show the alarm exam is mislead dependent on the hotel management We have front office We have housekeeping We have Food and beverage services we have food production. These are the main important for subjects. We do have digital marketing and management in our curriculum. However, we do not have housekeeping facility. Additional marketing facility will not have proper food production. Faculty don't have anyone teaching us a proper Food and beverages services.It is just Tossed up

From 2nd year the campus placements start from various hotels. Taj, Hyatt, Oberoi, The Leela, Merriot. 174,849 highest package for entry level staff. 100% students have been given placements in Hotels all over India. My plan is to join Hyatt as Guest Service Officer and Later go for my master's.

There is 80-90 percent of campus placement from the college.It gives opportunity to go for international placement as well. The highest salary package is 6lakh per annum. And the average salary package is upto 4lakh per annum

The placement of the college is very good there is nothing to doubt about the college placement. The college is part of IIHM and is part of the college chain. The college has record of 85-90% placement and international placement offers are also available. Taj Group, ITC Hotels, Grand Hotel, Texas, Le Meridien, Intercontinental, Oberoi, Radisson, Ramada are some of the hotel names that have taken part in the college placement drive. The highest placement offer was around 7 LPA and the average salary package was around 3.25 LPA.

Overall 85% of students are getting placement every year. Lots of known hotel brands are coming every year for placements. My plans after placement is to go abroad for job in other hotel brands. The degree is valued in almost all countries outside.

To get admission, I had to first fill out the application form which is present on the college website, then I had to submit the marks scored in grade 12 and then the students were ranked according to marks scored and the students who were selected had to give an interview.

This College gives the opportunity to study and work in United Kingdom and also take good care of your global exposure. Many celebrity chef like Ranveer Brar and Kunal Kapoor visits here for training programme. Meritorious students also gets free of cost 10 days trip to Spain and Italy to learn making wines

IIHM conducts a country wide entrance exam called IIHM- Echat. According to the scores obtained in it , it is decided which IIHM one has got. Before final selection, there is an interview round as well.

Admissions to the college is based on one entrance exam which is conducted throughout and that is IIHM- Echat. It is one course which has nothing to do with the marks obtained in senior secondary examinations.

I will always treasure the memories I have made here! From friends, to teachers, to the campus- I have loved every moment of the 3 years I spent here! It has given me education, love and skills, which I will always hold dear.
