Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is vast and helps in honing the skills of students in areas of Film Making, Film Direction, Editing and Cinematography. The duration of the course is two years and it is further divided into semester patterns in which students have to take exams and do internships.

Students graduating from this college have earned a name for themselves and therefore are pursued by big names in the film industry.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for PG course in Cinema costs Rs. 3.48 lakhs in total and has to be paid in installments annually. The college offers relaxation and even complete or partial scholarships to students belong to lower economic strata of the society.
Campus Life
The students at SRFTI are multi-talented and not just restricted to their field of study. The students organize a number of events throughout the year. Some of which are CDC-SRFTI Debate, various workshops on Motivation & Leadership , Screenings and many other events.
Admission
I am in the final year of completing my PG Program in Cinema from SRFTI, Kolkata. There are only limited seats available for this program and only the best of the lot gets selected for admission. The admission process involves having passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any stream and students who wish to pursue Animation Cinema need to have proficiency in drawing. Finally the students will be selected based on JET score and performance in Orientation & Interview.
Faculty
The faculty of the college include some of the most prominent names in Cinematography, Direction and many other fields. All of them are experience holders and are highly acclaimed professionals who offer a lot to the students. The professors are extremely talented and take interest in your work and also provide constructive criticism to students so that they can constantly improve their work.
