Course Curriculum Overview
The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics offers Research Scholars Program (Doctor of Philosophy) to candidates who have completed their master's degree. The course curriculum of PhD degree from our center is based on extra thorough research and development by the faculty. Also, there are special sophisticated equipment facilities for the students so that they can learn about different machineries that are used to identify different diagnostic and fingerprints.
Placement Experience
The center provides different types of workshop for the candidates so that they can get excellence in each of the field of the course that they are pursuing. Also, there are awards and honors ships available for all the candidates. Candidates applying for CDFD jobs in technical positions as assistants should have a bachelor? degree and should have knowledge in conducting experiments and also handling the specimens.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure in the college is less compared to others. The PH.D. course fee structure from our college is very feasible according to the middle-class candidates. Eevryone of them can study the course without any difficulties.
Campus Life
The management is equipped with world class state-of-the-art instrumentation and computing infrastructure to facilitate working in frontier areas of research in Life Sciences. It has all extraordinary facilities.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility in this college. But there is the availability of Residential complex comprising of 3 towers and a bungalow for people working in Centre for DNA fingerprinting and diagnostics. The tallest one named as Tagore Sadan is for research scholars, adjacent to it is Director's bungalow, next to it Teresa Bhavan houses 3BHK flats for scientists and the fourth building named after CV Raman is having 2BHK flats for supporting staffs.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors of our college are genuinely nice. There are no ragging and attitude problems going around the students. All of them are well-natured people and it is fun to be around them. They also help us with projects and hard assignment.
Admission
The interested students can apply via the online mode of application. The candidates will then be shortlisted based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (master? degree level or equivalent examination). The selected candidates will be notified and given an invitation for a walk-in interview.
Faculty
The faculty of the center is highly interested in teaching all the candidates about different types of techniques which are important in knowing if you are getting a degree in PhD. The nature of the faculty is very friendly towards each of the candidates.
