Course Curriculum Overview

My course was of 3 years Which is divided into 6 semesters. It was a foundation course for the students who have want to make career in science and research field. The course included various subjects like organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry

Placement Experience

Students from our domain could apply for various departments like Operations Manager, Scientist, Lecturer, Researcher, Scientist Assistant, Laboratory Technician, Research Analyst, Quality Control (QC) Chemist, Chemist etc. There was a no placement cell.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was really affordable for three years course. They charged Rs. 19000 for entire course. The fee for first year was Rs. 6,400 and they charged Rs.6,300 for each second and third year individually. The low fee enabled the students to afford the education.

Campus Life

The institute conducted several events like cultural programs, annual functions. They also organised fest, national day celebrations. Seminars and debates were also held. These activities encouraged students to perform in these as well along with the academics.

Admission

As this college was close to my house, I had to opt for this college and was given admission on the basis of my marks in 10+2. The institute conducts online mode of admission and we have to visit the official website for the application process. We also had to pay Rs.100 as application fee.

Faculty of our department were open to all kind is queries and were knowledgeable, kind, cooperative and open minded. They made sure that the students were attentive and used to make a fun environment in the class.

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

A holistic experience: my journey at CFI college of Law

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.

Dumkal College, a loving Study Centre

There are online process of Admission to this College. The authority will publish merit lists according to the marks of Higher Secondary as merit point. So they are clean to their admission policy. No third party public are allowed in this process. The College will give admission menu in their website, and student have to pay the fees at online process. Student don't need to go college untill their final admission done .
