Studying at RV Dental College is definitely an experience. They are well-rounded within the academics with a good course curriculum and experienced faculty. Their fees might seem a bit high but there might be scholarships on a merit basis which makes it worth going to!

The course structure is detailed and places an emphasis upon the anatomical structures, planes and in general, the anatomy. It requires general updating and coursework is regular. If you can maintain your studies, then it isn't too hectic. It is a really good curriculum for dentistry. BDS exams are once a year.

There isn't a placement cell, however the scope of jobs in the dental field is very large. Besides placements, the college requires an internship of the length of one year post the 4 year BDS course. There is a stipend of 2000 rupees per month.

The admission for RV college is different from course to course but the admission to any specific course in the BDS program is based on the NEET rank of the student. After the NEET rank, there is a compulsory counseling which is done by the Karnataka Examination Authority.

The faculty is well-equipped to teach. They are very knowledgeable. It is pretty clear that the faculty has a lot of experience in the field. In addition to the capable faculty, the college regularly invites guest lecturers who enrich the teaching.
