Remarks

Our college became my first home for these 5 years. I had a great time. The education is top class, more so the atmosphere in the college promotes excellence and cooperation which is wonderful. I highly recommend our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is excellent. Enough emphasis is given to practical learning experience. A normal day at college is very hectic. The exams are taken frequently and sometimes the syllabus is quite tough.

Placement Experience

4.5

There is a compulsory intership of one year after the four years of the course. Every student has to undergo this in order to gain experience and practical knowledge. After graduation all the students are either absorbed in this hospital itself or in other hospitals or clinics.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the course is Rs 20.81 lakhs. This is taken in four equal parts in four years. This is very feasible for this course and all colleges charge somewhere around this fees. Still, some students have to take studnet loan.

Campus Life

The college encourages all kinds of sporting activities. Inter college and inter University meets are organised in the campus. There are many cultural clubs as well which organise various events. The campus is accepting to students of all backgrounds.

Admission

I got admission in the college based on my NEET UG score. The counselling is done by the Karnataka examination authority(KEA). Then a merit list is created. The eligibilty criteria to sit for the exams was 10+2 from a recognised board with atleast 50% marks and physics, chemistry, biology and English as subjects.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is highly experienced and helpful. They hold highest degrees in their field of expertise and very knowledgeable. They are easily approachable as well which I think is their best quality and they give time to each student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is on par with other colleges n the college is constantly trying to improve it which is a gr8 thing!! But one thing which would do wonders is bringing latest dental tech into the curriculum which rarely 1-2 colleges do in India n I would love for our college to bring in this change!! Some dental materials r so old n not used anymore , but still they r in curriculum so...they can even change that!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first three years have a combination of medical and dental subjects and fourth year has only dental subjects. Studying medical subjects like anatomy, physiology, pathology, general medicine, general surgery helps us gain in depth knowledge of human body. Before entering clinics we have mannequins and typhodonts on which we practice procedures which equips us to treat patients. Internal assessments are conducted every 3 months and final exam is conducted by the university every year. The difficulty level of exams is moderate
