The college has one of the best crowds in the country, college is offering wide variety of courses and catering students from whole across the country. College proves to be a vital source to learn different things as well as to network and interconnect with lot of other amazing people.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have a very well defined course curriculum.You can chose any course from the following: GENERAL, BENGALI, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION, JOURNALISM, ENGLISH, GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY,MATHEMATICS, SANSKRIT, and PHILOSOPHY

Placement Experience

Students were also allowed to do a project or present a paper under the faculty of various programs and are provided with Letter of recommendation. Our college had a placement cell that gives enough assistance about the placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee for B.A. (Hons) in our college is around ? 2,070.Fees slightly change for different courses.The course fee is very feasible as compared to the fees of other colleges who provide the same course but at very high fees.

Campus Life

All facilities like gym, library, labs, exam fees are included in it. The college administration is very transparent in working and handling other things. The college has numerous society catering to the interest of students, and each of them conducts many events across the academic year.

Admission

The candidates those who have completed their 12th or graduate are eligible to get admission in this university by filling an application form Those with higher portfolio will get an advantage over others as this is a merit based admission

Faculty

The teachers are professionals of the course with high industry experience. Also, being an honors course, teachers provide a deep study about the subject giving both practical exposures to the students making them industry-ready

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.
