Remarks

Even though I have not been a part of this college for a long time, I am starting to understand the good parts of the college and its people. I an sure that by the end of my course the whole college would be like a family for all of us.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is divided into eight semesters since it is of four years. There is a credit for each subject under each semester and the students needs to get those credits to pass in each subject and be promoted to the next semester.

Placement Experience

There is a placement cell that is very active and is lead by a professor who collects important information regarding the latest vacancies and opportunities that might benefit the students of each course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The application fee for each candidates is Rs. 800 for each course which needs to be paid online during the online application process. There is also a non refundable counselling fee of Rs. 1000. The total fee for the first semester is rs. 15575, second, fourth and sixth semesters is Rs. 10650, third, fifth and seventh semesters is Rs. 11000 and eighth semester is Rs. 7800 which included the tuition fees, examination fees, special fees, other charges and lodging fees for people who opt for hostel accomodation.

Campus Life

Though our batch is yet to witness any events, we have seen pictures and articles about the different kinds of events that are organized by the college. We look forward to being a part of these events and have some great experiences.

Hostel Facilities

I have not opted for hostel facility but some of my friends have and they tell that the accommodation is not bad. There are sharing rooms and it is nice to be staying with people who become familiar faces in an unfamiliar place.

Admission

I saw the course for a bachelor's in fisheries science from Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University when I was searching for the same. I checked their prospectus and applied and got through in their rank list and got the counseling date.

Faculty

The faculties of my course have been a real help when it comes to studying and having a clear understanding of the course. All of the teachers try to provide the best study environment for the students.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.

About My University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I influenced by my friends who joined in this course ,later on I adjusted with it ,the curriculum prepares students in which they are capable to understand in their own way with which they build up projects and expos and many more events conducted by the other collages to participate in it. It is a tough situation to deal with it because the minimal gap between the sessionals is 1.5 month so for students it a stress to cover the syllabus of all subjects and with project works etc.

I had applied for engineering, agri, veterinary and fisheries. I desired to be an veterinarian and my second go to option was engineering. I didn't prefer agri. During counseling process, i couldn't place in the veterinary so i chose engineering in chennai. I studied engineering for 2 months. Then I came to know about the counseling of fisheries stream. When i went to search about fisheries. I was amazed and surprised about this sector. Prior to this i didn't know much about this stream. This made me to discontinue my engineering and made me to purse my career in fisheries. My coutoff was not enough to be an veterinarian (my cutoff -190.5). The admission for fisheries is pretty much similar to agri stream. The eligibile subjects are Maths- biology and pure science groups. The admission process is through counselling.
