Remarks

This college was my best decision. I had some queries regarding this college management as I found some bad reviews from some students. But lastly when I saw everything from my eyes all my queries got dissolved here. Here's fees is very hiked but it's totally totally worth it

Course Curriculum Overview

As I heard alot about the marine courses I was very eager to know the topics I was going to study. The syllabus was very wide and complex. Both theories and practical sessions were used in the course curriculum

Placement Experience

The placement and internships were for each and every students but we needed to do really well in our exams to get these internships and jobs. We even got trained in shipyard by the placement cell as our trainings. Several ship makers fetched my college for recruiting us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Okay for the middle class it was sky ranged. I was unable to pay here's fees without any external help thus lastly I applied for the loan. Educational loans procedure was very easy and quick and lastly I got loan. My fee for two semesters was 1,25 lacs.

Campus Life

Our college unfortunately organised no fests for us. But we had some exhibitions every year on topics related to Marine engineering. Seminars was something very normal for ETMA. Sports competitions held every weekend

Admission

The minimum eligibility criteria for filling the form was having 60%+ in your boards with PCM. After having eligibility i filled my college form. Few days later they sent me an e-mail with my exam centre and admit card. After I qualified exam(IMU-CET) I was called for the admission

The teachers were very experienced with several years experience in the Maritime Academy. My HOD was just a genius of the field. They called each and every one individually before our class started to give us a brief introduction about our syllabus and even asked about our feedbacks

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
