Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very well structured. There is a lot of focus on research and most of the time is spent in the lab performing experiments and learning through them. Exams are held at the end of the semester and projects and assignments are given to the students.

Placement Experience

Indira Gandhi University is in new University and hence there are no placements that can be mentioned. There is a placement cell that help students to get placement after college in good companies easily.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for my course is about 32000 for a period of one year which makes it approximately 1.2 lacs for course of 4 years. We have to pay a separately for hostel and food from the mess.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarships for students in the general category but the state of a lot of scholarships to SC and ST category candidates. They can get almost the complete fee waived. I am from general category so I could never get any scholarship.

Campus Life

There are a lot of sports enthusiast in the college and therefore various competitions and tournaments. There are various clubs and associations. I am the part of the science club and literacy club. There are seminars as well.

Admission

The admission for bachelors in pharmacy is through the entrance test held by the University.The first step of the admission process to fill in the application form. Then clearing the written exam and getting marks required.

The faculty of the college is very understanding supportive and interactive. they are very helpful and are highly qualified in their respective fields and always guide their students from their work experience.

GLIM Placements start from the beginning of 2nd year as till then we are also done with our intenrships. Also, placements here are lesser than that of Chennai but still median of GLIM is around 15 lakhs which is much better than other B-Schools of NCR.

Placement Experience:

College placements have improved over the years and this year 24-25 was really good for the placements . Students become eligible for the placements from the 6th semester onwards for Engineering and for other courses from their Final year . This year the highest package was 50LPA given by Amazon to one of our student and the average package was 4.5 LPA and the lowest package was 3.1 LPA . Many companies visited this year and still placements are going on around 80 percent students got placed. I am also looking towards campus placement otherwise I would go for MBA from Abroad.

I applied in Delhi University, MDU Rohtak, Kurukshetra University and IGU rewari. I got confirmed admission in MDU, KUK and IGU. I prefer IGU because its location was more suitable for me and it was meeting all my requirements. I rejected MDU and KUK due to thier location and placements. In my university, admission is on entrance basis but sometimes if there are less number of application forms, then it is on merit basis.
