Course Curriculum Overview
It is a 3 year doctoral level program in horticulture course. It includes knowledge and learning of cultivation of fruits, vegetables, crops, plants etc. Our course includes lots of projects, presentations research thesis etc. In this course we are allowed to conduct research on an individual level. This is a professional and doctorate course. For this course students should have interest in plants and crops.
Placement Experience
Ph.d is a doctorate course. All students are placed after completion of this course. Mostly students are placed by their own. They all are in top positions like horticulturist, floriculturist, pomologist etc. Some are scientist and doing research studies. Many of seniors are professors in government as well as in private universities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees depends on subject and field in which one have to complete his/her phd. Students can know their fees by calling in campus. Well overall fees is feasible and relevant to pay for students who belongs to low income family.
Campus Life
Institute organizes lots of events in which extracurricular activities like cultural programmes, fests, social and environmental events take place. There are various societies/clubs of students for events are made by college.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college organised alumni meet for interacting us to our respected seniors. Some seniors are in my contact and they all are helping and supporting by nature. They help in guiding me in choosing research topics. They also tell us about faculties and about rules & regulations here. Almost all seniors are good while some are little egoistic by nature.
Admission
I choose phd in this field as I always want to do higher education in field of horticulture and this field have various career opportunities in future. I got admission on the basis of post graduation and entrance examination followed by interview and group discussion.
Faculty
Faculties are highly qualified. Faculties help and mentor us in research projects and in finding relevant topics for research. Mostly faculties are involved in big researchs. They all are doctorates and highly knowledgable. They support each n every student without any kind of discrimination.
