Course Curriculum Overview
We had four subjects in the first year, first sem Introduction to the Study of Languages Introduction to Literary Studies Indian Writings in English Methods of language Teaching. The exams were pretty easy and the total credits for all the subjects was 16.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities for graduates in MA are very diverse. They have many options to choose from. The university also offered internships to students as freelance content writers etc. The stipend offered was around 3000.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees to be paid for the first semester was 9200 rupees during the admission itself. The fees can be paid through online mode itself. The fees is very feasible for the course in masters as related to other courses
Campus Life
We have a central library, a canteen, computer laboratories, sports complexes, etc. the students were treated were nicely and every single religion is respected here without any sort of bias regarding to gender or race.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are offered to boys and girls separately. There are different dorms for the same. I booked a seat for a room in the girls hostel. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned everyday by the helpers, food was provided and other facilities offered were also good.
Admission
After I completed my BA in English from Hyderabad, I wished to study further and do my Masters. Central University of Andhra pradesh offers courses in MA for literature. The admission process was to be completed by going to the office directly and paying the fees of the first semester.
Faculty
Our faculty was very genuine and down to earth. They reached the class in time every day for the lecture and always asked us how we were doing. They were highly qualified and educated from renowned professional colleges in India.
