Remarks

Admission process is online. Students are admitted to the college, merit basis. Atmosphere of the college for study is undoubtedly good. Senior students are also very helpful. Teachers are also very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are well educated and well behaved. They always take care of us. They are always available to help us about study matter. They took exams in every week for the better result in final exam. Specially seminars are also held every year.

No doubt a lot of student get placement from this college in past years. All the teachers helps all students ,by their experience, to get a better placement in their future life.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is reliable and better than any other colleges. Concession facility is also available here. Scholarship also available for poor and meritorious students. Teachers also helps them.

Campus Life

Annual fest of the college is undoubtedly great. We all students eagerly waiting for the college fest every year. It's very colourful and attractive. Annual sports also held by the college every year. Central Library is one of the attractive thing of the college.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

the reality of kd college

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am from Commerce background so I need to make my career on this way so I choose this course . The faculty and student receive is not good the students and the faculty ratio is 10 : 5 The faculties are educated from various university and institutes they know everything but they are unable to delivered them to us as because they are some aggressive attitude. In every six months there is a semester and it is very difficult to pass if you don't study anything from the first.
