Remarks

My college has given me many moments to cherish and remember. It has made me the person I am today. The course curriculum, the college events, teachers and friends have all helped me grow and evolve as an individual and for that I am forever grateful to them.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was designed keeping in mind the latest administeroal and management theories and studies. It was very well updated. The exams were held at sufficient intervals which gave us enough time to prepare. Also, the daily schedule was such that every student had time for Co-curricular activities.

Placement Experience

3

The college has tie-ups with various companies. They regularly visit out campus for recruitment. The college provides 100% placement assistance to each and every student. We also got assistance from the college to grab internships.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee for my course was Rs 69,740 and it was divided over the course of 6 semesters. The fee structure is feasible and was affordable for me and most of the students. The facilities and opportunity that we got easily compensated the money that we spent.

Campus Life

The college has indoor gymnasium and indoor sports facilities like table tennis, carrom and badminton. There are also various students clubs available. There are two sports ground in total at the college.

Hostel Facilities

I stayed in the college hostel. It has 5 boys and 1 girls hostel. The hostel had round the clock facilities and amenities for the students. There were shared rooms. Security was also provided for each hostel. There were three variant rooms: non-AC, AC and cooler.

Admission

The admission was done on the basis of a merit list. The list was created taking into consideration the aggregate marks obtained by the students in their 10+2 exams. I had always wanted to do management studies and BBA was my first choice.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty constituted of some of the most friendly proffesors. They always went out of their way to help the students. Some of the faculty also had practical administrative experience which helped us gain hands on knowledge of skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives
