Remarks

The experience I had at my college was worth it. I learned a lot and grew as an individual as well as a student. Now I realize that my college has shaped me into the person that I am today. My faculties, my friends and all the opportunities that I got have played an equally important role in bringing me to this stage of my life.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is very well planned. Practicals are given enough importance along with the theoritcal classes. We got opportunities to learn at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra's which helps in grasping the concepts and learning new methods and techniques.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college organizes various skill development and job oriented trainings for students. Companies like Reliance Food Daily Ltd visit the campus for placement. The placements are also satisfactory and most of the students get placed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee for a degree of 4 years was Rs 33,357. This for me was pretty affordable and is comparable with other universities. It is completely justifiable because of the facilities that we are provided. This amount was paid in four parts during the course of my degree.

Campus Life

The university celebrates all festivals of national importance. Activities like NCC and NSS are also a part of the college activity. We also organised various cultural activities in the campus and inter college sports events are also held in the University.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees was nominal at Rs 6,525 per year. We had common rooms and dining area. There was also a cafeteria with adequate facilities. Boys and girls hostel were separate. Medical facilities were also provided in the hostel itself.

Alumni/Alumna

There was a friendly interaction between the college seniors and juniors. The seniors were always available for help and guidance unlike what may be the case elsewhere. Now, since I am also an alumni, I give back by helping my juniors in whichever way possible and all the alumni are part of a very well connected network.

Admission

I got admissions due to my Excellent ICAR (Indian Council for Agricultural Reasarch) score. However, I had also cleared MP Pre Agricultural Test(PAT) but got preference in admission due to my ICAR score. I choose my B. Sc in horticulture. Though a similar degree is also provided in Agriculture.

Faculty

4

The faculty is extremely well trained. Most of the members of the faculty had deep interest in their subjects which reflected when they were teaching. I personally admired Dr. R. S Sikarwar's grasp of the subject and his method of teaching.

It's mostly the law firms as corporate houses have so far have drench coming to our campus. The reasons are obvious as just three batches have been passed out from her so far and unless a strong alumni network is formed it is impossible to get great placements from our campus.
