Review

Course structure is pretty simple. Exam structure is also not very hectic. In the foundation year, subjects are simple. From the second year there are 9 subjects in fashion design. All the subjects help the students to get industry ready.

Almost all the students got placed from college in major companies like Skechers, Firstcry and Etsy. I don't know the salary packages offered. But most of the companies mentioned above were offering the salary package ranging between 3 LPA to 5 LPA. I would give an average rating because of my personal experience with the placement cell after I left college. Almost 80% of the students got placed, and the remaining either opted for pursuing higher studies or were not ready for a job right now.

Fees of the college are expensive. It cannot be afforded by all too. The college fees include only tution fee and mess fee. The hostel fee is different. And also the students have to buy their own materials. The fees were Rs 1.2 lakhs in my time per annum.

Classrooms, libraries, and Labs are well maintained. There are no AC rooms. Few rooms are not in good condition. There is a common washroom for girls. In mess, they provide only south Indian food so most of the north students eat in the cafeteria. Food is pretty good.

I am a local Resident. But, mess food was okay, not bad, especially the aloo-puri was totally amazing. As I have heard, the hostel wardens were nice and supportive. Hostel rooms were normal. The time was I guess till 7 pm to go out. The cleanliness was good around the whole campus.

Faculty members in our college were very good. The staff in the retail department was qualified, experienced. If there would've been the practical sessions and much more skills-oriented classes rather than just theory focused classes, it would have been better. We had a few projects every semester and a couple of practical classes and mall and factory visits.
