FDDI Chennai is one place that has literally changed my life it? like a home to me since I had pursued my Bachelor? degree from this campus itself. I have seen the college grow along with me. It has become a great place to get some great opportunities. Chennai as a city is a great one, people are friendly and warm. It? safe for everyone, especially girls

The master? course is a two year course. There are only 75 seats of master? in FDDI Chennai.The two year course have 4 semesters and is focused on in depth knowledge of footwear both ,leather and non leather footwear. The course also focuses on manufacturing, marketing, design and the international business of the industry. The specialization for Master? is offered in Fashion footwear, Product manufacturing and Innovation, Non-leather Footwear, Product Manufacturing, Designing, Safety Footwear and Product Ethnic Footwear.

The placement is undoubtedly 100%. By the means of high profile tie ups with Bata, Carlton London, Hindesign, Adidas, Reebok and Nike. The placement that the college offers is par excellence. Even the internship offers are really good. The high tech efficiency of the faculty enables us to get a good name for the college.

For the master? course, the academic fee almost raised to 1 lakh-1.5 lakh per semester including security deposit, which is refundable. The hostel fee is 18,000/- per semester excluding the mess fee. The fee for NRI candidates differ.

There are a lot of festivals like the Knowledge Festival, Kick start Fitness and International Conferences. Apart from that, the labs are equipped with latest technology and the campus is a live one too. Also, to maintain the greenery of the campus, a plantation drive is done.

I am a Master? student at FDDI, Chennai and it? a great college and has some great opportunities.The procedure of admission is solely online. I had logged on to the website of FDDI and has filled in the form.The prospectus was worth 500/- and the admit card was issued online. However, we had to select a city of our preference from the list of 31 cities and I had chosen Chandigarh, based on my rank I got FDDI Chennai. The schedule of the counselling was also uploaded online.We had to pay 25,000/- to secure our seat.

The faculty is highly efficient and they teach us the theoretical along with is practicality. The dynamics of the industry are well taught to us. The labs are high tech, the designing software are updated and the faculty has a good experience of industrial training.
