Remarks

Niftem is good place to learn. However, pressure of academia is too high and struct rule of compulsaey 90% attendance make it more challenging.But campus life is awesome.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE- 2012, I don't actually remembee my score as its been about 3 years. But it was enough to get me a Central Govt. College. I choose NIFTEM as it offered incubation for entrepreneurship which is my carrier endeavour. Secondly, food sector always keeps me delighted with tastes and flavours of service.

Internships Opportunities

I did internship at M/S Frigorifico Allanasons for 5 months getting 13000 stipend during my 7th semester. The company is worlds largest producer and expoerter of frozen halal buffalo meat. It provided me an experience of entire value chain from procurement of buffalo to final export.

Placement Experience

We are first batch so not yet seen placements. However, rwo batches of M tech course have been passed out with 100% placements and a highest package of about 8.5 lacs .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is quite higher than other government colleges offering the same course. But NIFTEM provides better facilities than any other indian govt university (even including IIT / IIMs). A high budget of 500crores equips it with best possible infra and highly equipped labs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit Scholarship Merit cum means scholarship. Easy bank loan from SBI ( which is located inside the campus).

Campus Life

Gender ratio is better than any other govt engineering college. We are the first batch and have students from about 16 states.Village adoption programme is an unique part of our curriculum that groups together students to adipt any village within the country and work for its develeopment for full 4 years of course.

Alumni/Alumna

No.As our university is very new so we dont have any as such established aluminai network. Two passed out batches of M.tech course share indutrial domain exposure with those who are in campus.

Exam Structure

Exam schedule is always very hectic and academic load is very high. One can not get time to chill out or roam around once he enters into NIFTEM.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered in our college, infact the focus of college has recently increased overall. In my College placement are quietly impressive. Placements and interships begins after 6th sem. The college has a dedicated training and placement cell that conducts pre placement training including mock interview , aptitude etc. the average package of my College is around 4 to 5 LPA.

About NIFTEM from my eyes

Admission process consist of jossa counselling based on jee mains score but now it has changed a bit neet students can also apply for Niftem. No special exam is taken for admission and after jossa counselling is done Niftem also offers direct admissions based on jee mains rank....Read More

NIFTEM - A Great experience of learning and enhancing professional skills

The admission process in NIFTEM is based on score in Jee which is a entrance exams.This college has two systems for seat allocation which are 1) JOSAA/CSAB 2) Direct admission process. The basic process of josaa is through central allocation system,direct admission procedure is the channel through which with a valid jee rank you can apply directly for niftem from the college website and available vaccancy can increase your chances of getting selected.Generally cutoff for General is moderate on moderate ranks such as above 45k upto the limit of 100k for categorie reservation of seats plays an important role through which the ranks somewhat lower can also be selected as well as benefits reservations applied in fees also( reduced ).eligibility of admission is 12th pass with PCM group and a valid JEE rank.Application process starts with Jee councelling and ends after a month....Read More
