Course Curriculum Overview

BA Economics Hons is a graduation course which has the duration of 3 years and follows semester system. The course structure is very good and well organised. The days are usually hectic and exams are also tiring.

The college is very good in its education. There are few internships and placements available for the students. The Placement cell guides and trains the students. There are internships and job opportunities. Companies visit recruit the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the program is around 40 thousand which is very feasible as per the demands and popularity of the course among the students. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life

The college is good in its extracurricular activities. They focus on overall development of the students. There are sports activities. Debate competitions, dance and singing competitions are also held.

Admission

P.D. Women's College is general degree women's college in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. It offers undergraduate courses in arts and science. To get admission, the student must have 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board. Then they will have to apply for the admission and follow the process of admission.

A Peaceful, Culturally Rich Journey at Visva-Bharati University

Placement Experience:

Placements at VBU especially for courses like BA IN JAPANESE are limited. Most students do not receive offers through campus recruitment. However, the course opens up oppurtunities in fields like translation, interpretation and working with Japanese Companies especially for those who clear JLPT N2 or N1. After completing my bachelor's I plan to pursue an MBA as combining language skills with management education offers a strong edge in the global job market.

Generally all the subjects excluding few rare subjects are available here. I choose this course because of my future planning. I can go for research with help of this. And I loved the course's study material and syllabus. The faculty is very well. Many teachers are here. Minimum 5 teachers in one department. And all teachers are qualified. The teachers are very good knowledgeable. They are very punctual and teaches us very carefully. In every semester there is held two college's internal examination. And end of the semester there is held a final exam when we have to go to different exam center. And practical exams are held very nicely.
