Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum revolves around the specialisation in the field they want. Its culture, economy, future, craftsmanship, and many other aspects are taught to us over the course of 2 years. The exams for the same are conducted on a semester-basis.
Placement Experience
The NIFT is a centralised university which is why, the placements are conducted on a central basis and companies come at a single place to interview all the applicants. If any student is interested in an internship, they can take it up with due permission of the college authorities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for 1st year is Rs.2,25,000/- and for 2nd year, it is Rs.2,29,000. The fees is not feasible but those who can't pay are offered a scholarship program. They can receive anything between 25% to 100% depending on their parent's income.
Campus Life
The college tops the list when it comes to extracurricular activities. The place is full of sports events, cultural fests, and craft bazaars where students can show off their skills and may even earn money from the same.
Admission
The admission process had quite a few steps. Graduation in a relevant course is essential after which I had to give a GAT exam. On the basis of merit, the students selected were called up for a group discussion and interview.
Faculty
The faculty uses research and presentations as their tools to teach us the art of fashion designing. Every teacher specialises in his or her niche and gives us the in-depth knowledge from their experience and learnings.
