Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very well designed and structured well by professionals so that we can get in depth theoretical and practical knowledge efficiently. Exam structure of our course is semester based.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are quite good and decent in our college. Several companies like A K studio, ACE exports, afdindia, beebay kids apparels pvt.ltd., bloomcraft apparels, castle homes, decathlon, elite decor pvt.ltd., FAB world, GNP apparels pvt.ltd., zorya fashions pvt.ltd., etc. have recruited many students from our college with good packages. They even provide internship in the last semester.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite expensive in our college but is worth the facilities and education quality they provide along with placement assistance. Fee structure of our course is 2.7 lakhs per year which is expensive but worth. Students who are financially weak can avail scholarships provided by our college.

Campus Life

Our college along with studies also concentrates on extracurricular activities by conducting student development programmes like cultural club, literary club, sports, adventure & photography (SAP) club and ethics social service & environment (ESSE) club. Our college also organizes fashion spectrum which is the annual fest and CONVERGE which is annual centralized cultural and sports event every year. They also conducts seminars and workshops in the college.

Admission

I got admission in this college by writing NIFT entrance exam which includes creative ability test (CAT), general ability test (GAT) and situation test and finally an interview. Based on my performance I got selected in this college. The process is same for other courses too.

Faculties of our college are very well qualified and trained in their respective fields. They guide us in each step of college life whether it is subject related or career related aspect. They are very helpful.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are moderately good in severe times of recession like this, though branches like civil , EE, Mechanical get placed very good but cse is facing some recession, still they are placed above average compared to other colleges The students become eligible for internships from their 5th semester i.e their 3rd year and for campus placements from 3rd and 4th year in 2024 one of the final year students from cse grabbed 2cr at google and the median and average placement package is decent here 90-95% students get placed in decent companies My plans are to explore software development with interets in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty members are very cooperative as per my experience. They were nice and helped me alot in a lot of procedure and doubts. They are well qualified, ph.d in their respective fields/subject they were teaching. The teaching methods were quite good. I mean if student who read books/ do self study and who concentrate in what they saying can easily understand it. Although it was distance learning college they take classes before the examination. Exams were always took on time but because of corona the schedule was Disturbed. But now it's fine. Difficulty level of exam is quite similar to any other universities. If you study well you'll pass. But I never seen any student got 90% or above atleast not from my commerce stream.

Other collages like NID which is considered very prestigious and India's number one design college, is very unique and different from nift which is only a fasion based coursive college, it has frequent fashion shows and events which only focus on Fasion related stuff, the course which the course which I took which is fashion communication promises to teach us animation and various other subjects like photography and videography film making and various other digital stuff but as I came across the course and teachings I got to know that it is only based on fashion related stuff and when the student goes into industry exposure it is very difficult for the student to work in an environment which is not based on fashion related stuff so NIFT is very different from NID.
