Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum includes the latest trends in the industry.The programme builds upon the integration of creative forces of design with textile technology, and also involves the mind of historical, social and cultural contexts in which the designers work today. Therefore it really works in the technological field to create more and more new versions.

Placement Experience

The Placement cell helps us in a effective manner to get placed.Moreover the positions offered by the industry for this course is motif designer,print and pattern designer,Strategic Intervener,Innovative design consultant etc..,.The highest salary package they offered to our course is 16 LPA and nearly 95% of the students get placed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure they provide us is 11.09 L for the study of 4 years and it is approximately about 3 LPA. It is a reasonable option for which we can gain more knowledge and placements in a right position.

Campus Life

Our college has many events like cultural fest,sports fest,workshops,Education fests.The students organize these fest which involve many quizzes and games that will funfilled one.The fests are will be in a creative manner.

Admission

The admission process which i have gone through was quite difficult.The application can be applied through online for the entrance exam.The first eligibility to satisfy is 10+2 score from the recognized board.Then i have appeared for the NIFT Entrance Exam and it has creative ability test as well as general ability test.I have got good score which helps me to attend the counselling for the selection of score based on my cut off in Entrance Exam.

The faculty helps us in many ways and they are very talented.They provide us more informative theory knowledge which will be quite interesting to listen and learn.Their methodology of teaching is very impressive.They mostly suggest and prefer the practical knowledge because in which we can gain learning by doing it manually.The student-faculty ratio is 1:12 which is big advantage to the students.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are moderately good in severe times of recession like this, though branches like civil , EE, Mechanical get placed very good but cse is facing some recession, still they are placed above average compared to other colleges The students become eligible for internships from their 5th semester i.e their 3rd year and for campus placements from 3rd and 4th year in 2024 one of the final year students from cse grabbed 2cr at google and the median and average placement package is decent here 90-95% students get placed in decent companies My plans are to explore software development with interets in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty members are very cooperative as per my experience. They were nice and helped me alot in a lot of procedure and doubts. They are well qualified, ph.d in their respective fields/subject they were teaching. The teaching methods were quite good. I mean if student who read books/ do self study and who concentrate in what they saying can easily understand it. Although it was distance learning college they take classes before the examination. Exams were always took on time but because of corona the schedule was Disturbed. But now it's fine. Difficulty level of exam is quite similar to any other universities. If you study well you'll pass. But I never seen any student got 90% or above atleast not from my commerce stream.

Other collages like NID which is considered very prestigious and India's number one design college, is very unique and different from nift which is only a fasion based coursive college, it has frequent fashion shows and events which only focus on Fasion related stuff, the course which the course which I took which is fashion communication promises to teach us animation and various other subjects like photography and videography film making and various other digital stuff but as I came across the course and teachings I got to know that it is only based on fashion related stuff and when the student goes into industry exposure it is very difficult for the student to work in an environment which is not based on fashion related stuff so NIFT is very different from NID.
