Course Curriculum Overview

The course is like any other commerce course comprising of accounting, tax, several subjects of finance, marketing, communication skills. However, there are some subjects which were taught in the computer lab. The exam is taken on a normal semester format every six months but the practical and lab exams and assignments were very tough to complete in the limited time provided by the faculty.

Placement Experience

The job prospects were good at the university as some reputed companies came for placements but preferred the master's students more. However, I have seen few chances of internships at university but the private institutes like Jaro Education, Vanram solutions, India Infoline offered internships, and also the stipend of 5000 per month.

College Events

Students themselves organized several events like socially responsible citizens forum, sports events, annual fest, and many other technical and non-technical events. They are quite big as sometimes the students came for participation from other institutes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The institute increases fees every year by 10%. I paid 2,50,000 for my bachelor's program for one year so it was very expensive. On the other hand, I spent 30,000 additional to all the documentation and admission process.

Campus Life

There were numerous activities as there was much unity among students. With permission from the faculties and the institute department student arranged sports activities, yoga day every weekend, quiz competitions, marathon every three months. Many students came from other states to make their careers and therefore much student diversity was observed.

Hostel Facilities

I do not think the institute provides hostel facilities as mostly the students from other states lived at the PG rooms whose rent was between 15000 to 30000. Also, other services were charged extra base on the location preferred by the student.

Admission

The minimum requirement was graduation from any field with 60% and NMAT so after these exams, I applied to Bachelor of Business Administration and though my scores were average I was able to make it. I got my offer letter as I have registered online and submitted all the academic documents at the admission department of the university.

Faculty

Faculty was good but gave many assignments for the practice of students. As the subjects in BBA were lengthy mostly every student missed the submission date assigned by the faculty. On the other hand, faculty were quite responsive as they cleared all the doubts of students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Placement Experience:

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

Life at NMIMS navi mumbai

i had applied to various colleges apart from nmims and also got into a few of them like NIIIT rajasthan , wating list for symbiosis pune , few colleges in delhi university like motilal nehru college, ramjas etc. the reason for not selecting those colleges were that the reputation of nmims for their bba course supercedes all these others yes i got rejected from some colleges like iim indore , iim ranchi and christ university where i got rejected post interview and i could not make it to the personal interview stage for the iims to get into nmims , there is an entrance called npat and for few courses like bba and bcom there is mandatory requirement of maths as a subject in your 12th class and there no other entrances for this institute. the cutoff various for each branch of nmims varies like for nmims navi mumbai its somehwhere between 1000-3500 and i had gotten 1100 finally the admission process is quite easy and you are given 2 attempts max for npat and the admissioning is all merit based and no GD or PI...Read More
