Remarks

The college is well maintained and promotes women's development. The faculty of the college focus on making the students of the college inhibited, ambitious and obedient. They impart basic good values in their students for a better living.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is quite easy if you are good with tallying and basic mathematics. B.Com as a stream is not hard at all and the subjects can be learnt simply and effortlessly. The exams are conducted at the end of every semester.

Placement Experience

The college helps the students in finding jobs after graduation by inviting companies and organizations to pick students through campus selection after a detailed procedure. The college sometimes provide internships too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the college is quite low, around 9000/- a year. The amount is quite feasible for the students. The college is willing to lower the fee demanded from the students and give them consideration if they belong to low economic backgrounds.

Campus Life

The college organizes extra curricular activities for its students, for them to enjoy their college life to the fullest. There are annual fests and big Indian festivals are celebrated by the students and teachers.

Admission

I chose B.com as i was interested to give bank exams later. The admission in the college is on the basis of the marks that you have cored in your higher secondary education, that is 10+2 for which you need to have had mathematics and account in 12th.

The faculty of the college is satisfactory. They are good with their subjects and are thoughtful towards the students, though not always. They may cooperate at times and help the students after lecture hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.

Management of admission process was very easy and good. No entrance exam is required for admission in this college. Students can apply for admission on the basis of higher secondary marks. Good marks in Bengali and English subjects are required in higher secondary for admission to graduate level in Journalism. Journalism & Mass Communication course fee is 15,680 per year . For admission in this college you have to apply on the official website of the college. The admission process start and end date and all related information is provided on that website. My personal opinion is that there is no need to change the procedures for admission in this college.
