Campus Life

While the campus has separate sports fields for football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and badminton,most of the hostels have their own table tennis and badminton courts. A fitness and recreation centre was set up in 2010,which houses a gymnasium, swimming pool, squash, and billiards.

Admission

Joining IIM has always been a dream for me after my engineering days.A pretty good percentile helped my bag a seat at IIM Lucknow. The admission for the two year PGP and fellowship programmes is done through Common Admission Test (CAT), while GMAT score is used for International Programme in Management for Executives, a one-year full-time residential programme equivalent to an MBA program

Review of University reality

Placement Experience:

Lucknow University does not have very strong campus placements for B.Sc students, as most companies prefer professional or technical courses like B.Tech or MBA. However, a few job fairs and placement drives are organized where companies from education, sales, and basic research roles visit. The placement opportunities usually start after the 5th semester. The average package offered is quite low compared to other professional colleges, and only a small percentage of students get placed through campus. Most B.Sc students prefer to go for higher studies like M.Sc, B.Ed or prepare for competitive exams such as SSC, Bank, UPSC, State PCS, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very useful for me in civil services examination because Optional subject remains important in Upsc examination and if u are already pursuing a degree in a subject which will be your optional in civil services examination then it will be great choice of yours . curriculum prepares me so well. Recently teachers werw changed due to their poor performances in class. This improvement was done. Now exams frequency and timings wero also fine and there was not difficultly level at all

Placement Experience:

Placement are very minimal the companies mostly give priority to Btech students. From 3rd semester students become eligible foe campus Placements. Companies like wipro tata and some more visit. Highest package offered was 10lpa. And average package ranges from 2.5lpa to 3lpa Very few studenst get campus placement. I plan to pursue MCA from germany after completing BCA from this university

College review at best: all the things I would want to know

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are clinics which give us experience of real world and opportunities to apply knowledge. Using newer technology could be beneficial. Final exams once a year and pre finals before that and 1-2 term exams each year along with practical and vivas Moderately tough and as the year passed it gets tougher.

after 5 semester college starts giving oppurtunities like stipend based internships and companies like biocon ,britania ,mother dairy visited i don't know about highest package and i also do not know the percentage of student getting placed but most of them get placed my plan is to find a relevant job for me according to my interest.
