Remarks

The Laboratories are well-equipped laboratories with best equipment for all the department. Also, the Infrastructure is one of the best and this University has an excellent modernized and ecofriendly environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

Research work is uplifted within the curriculum. Most students opt for laboratory work research on a permanent basis. Further, some questions based on a higher-level are asked to distinguish between the topper and other students.

Placement Experience

Not so good placement cell. You can expect to get a placement but with low probability chances but its better if you look out for contacts in the industry or try to get higher education and make more chances to fetch a job.

Fee Structure And Facilities

While other universities demand a much higher price for the course, this college offers you the same education at a lower fee structure and a reliable one also.This college usually charged ? 660,000 per year for this degree.

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

True experience of a SLIET Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.

My admission in this college was done on the basis of NEET and the eligibility criteria was 50% marks from any recognized board. I scored good marks in NEET so I managed to get one seat out of 150 seats for myself.
