Good university

It was a two year course which was divided into four semesters. The curriculum includes deep understanding of geographical problems, knowledge of theoretical debates and practical training. Exams are conducted at the end of each semester.

The overall experience for placement and job opportunities in our university was good. More than 65 percent of the students are placed in the campus interview. The placement cell provides career guidance and facilitates corporate interaction to the university students. They organize and conducts many campus interview for its students.

The fees structure was quite good in our university. The total fees of the two years course was around 16000 rupees. In every semester we paid around 4000 rupees which was quite feasible. My hostel fees was not included in the total fees. I was very happy and satisfied with my fees.

Besides academics, our university gives equal importance to its extracurricular activities. These activities helps us a lot in developing our personalities. Many sports activities like gymnastics, Judo, Wrestling, kabaddi, kho kho, Hockey etc are organized. These activities really motive us to participate. Winners of all the activities are given prizes and awards on its annual function day.

Yes, i opted for hostel accommodation. There are total 25 hostel inside the university campus. There are 11 boys hostel, 13 girls hostel and 1 for foreign students. Facilities provided by the hostel were reading room, computer laboratories, indoor and outdoor game facilities, dining hall etc.

The admission process was fully based on merit. To get admission, student should qualify their B. A/B. SC with Geography as one of the subject or B. A(Hons) /B. SC (Hons) in Geography examination form kurukshetra or any recognised university.

The quality of teaching was very good in our university. The teachers try to make students understand by practical examples. They give more importance on practical knowledge. All teachers have very good knowledge in their respective subjects.
