What Students Say
Likes
- Campus looks pretty good with respect of its size
- Faculty is really helpful , they try there best in my opinion.
- They conduct workshops and industrial visits pretty often which helps in study
Dislikes
- Sometimes it's seems too strict and bounded within the study aspect
- After the university has been changed crowd is getting better but still there are few batches(senior) with are not ideal crowd to have in a college
- Sometimes it's too much of hustle for small approvals or requests
Course Curriculum Overview
If we would have only consider our courses then I think it wouldn't be as relevant and useful as per today's requirement but including all curriculums and trainings they provide beside the courses it combines to make moderately relevant . As for the teaching method it depends significantly on an individual some person might can feel it's perfect, some person can feels it's not getting to them. There is an exams called sessional exam which happens frequently in an individual semester according to the subject syllabus covered before the final examination. Difficulty level for sessional exams are moderate to easy
Internships Opportunities
As they offer workshops for various organisations hence they usually refer us to there courses and internship opportunities but besides that it's pretty much on our own to crack internship . There is always an required project to submit at the end of the semester which people used for there own cv so they can show there work in internship
Placement Experience
According to the college itsself they ensure there are opportunities and placements and seniors have told me u can apply for jobs from your last year and it can change significantly positively because of the affiliation shift in future years and I have seen posters and banners of people in our college starts with 4-5 lakh all the way to 50 lakh
Fees and Financial Aid
My fee is more affordable like 1.2 lkh per year because of different university. Echlon institute of technology recently changed there affiliated university therefore it would be different arround 1.8 lkh but if u apply for scholership it can be reduced significantly It depends on jee exam score, categories like sc/st etc
Campus Life
It's depend on every individual and there isn't much competition to do decent in any club for me I was in sports so we gets invitations from other colleges to play and tournaments get organised in fests every year and there are various options to join as a club and u people gets opportunity not that much but pretty decent.
Admission
So most of the colleges I didn't applied and rejected at the end was because of the distance of the college from my home so the distance was pretty ideal then others . Other then the colleges around it are quite similar to it lingyas have its own university and fee was higher then here and jb knowledge was far and people suggested only to come if u care about the degree. And in aravali seat was full when I enquired so I went here
Faculty
I would say faculty is pretty decent in terms of there effort and there responsibilities. most of the teachers try to help with students doubt and enquiry . Faculty to student ratio is good like even if a teacher is absent or not available there is always a substitute teacher or any faculty member to look for in class . Generally implements on the all departments specially cse. They are trying to bring relevant skill workshops or awareness workshop for students for free which is helpful.
Night Life
Because of the indiscipline and numerous fights faculties have gotten strict so I have experienced faculties asking about there current lectures and warning them to not roam around campus in lecture times( there isn't any free lectures in cse) but besides that in fests or any event it's good and pretty enjoyable Timing of the college generally is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm . Gym is only accessible for hostel guys but beside them pretty much all is accessible
