Rawal Institute of Engineering & Technology (RIET), Faridabad established in 2008, is a private institute affiliated to J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology and Haryana State Board of Technical Education. Approved by AICTE, the college offers undergraduate and diploma courses in the discipline of Engineering & Technology. Admission to RIET is done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the national level entrance exam as well as on the merit basis of the marks scored in the previous qualifying examination.

The RIET, Faridabad provides scholarships to the students on the basis of the rank of the students in the JEE Main entrance exam. Tabulated below the details of the same:

Conditions:

  1. The aggregate of class XII results (CBSE only) will be considered only.
  2. All India Rank will be considered only.

  4. Students admitted in category D & E will have to maintain 75% & above in each semester (University Examination) to retain the scholarship.
  5. Reappear at any stage means withdrawal of scholarship forever with immediate effect without any information.
  6. At the time of admission, students will deposit one time caution money (INR 2000/- approx.) which is refundable after completion of course.
  7. Scholarship is solely at the discretion of the Board of Management.

Admission:

The eligibility of the course - min. percent(12th) should be 60%. Application forms, application fees, and application dates were easily available on their website. No details for the reservation because I haven't availed. The admission process is fine. For now, I don't think so there is anything to improve in the process.

My RIET journey

Admission:

I applied for Rawal Institute of Engineering and Technology and it is affiliated with J C Bose University of Science and Technology. The admission was straightforward. I just went to the college and they provided all the details related to the course and fee structure. They also provide necessary scholarships to JEE Main rank holders or someone with a very good percentage in boards. The minimum percentage required is 60%.
