Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS is a professional course which has the duration of 5 years and also follows semester system. The course structure is well organized and balanced along with well equipped labs. The days and exams are usually tiring.

Placement Experience

The institution has a 100 percent placement record and always aims to provide the best opportunities to its students. The students are priorly trained for the program. Then the recruiters recruit the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college for MBBS is around 20 lakhs for 5 years. The amount is very high but the institution provides with great opportunities to its students along with all the necessary facilities.

Campus Life

The college is good in its extracurricular activities. There are freshers, farewell, orientation program organized. Various clubs, sports activities, cultural programs are also held. National festivals are also celebrated. Exhibitions are also organized.

Admission

Doon Medical College has MBBS program. The candidates must have 50 percent marks in their 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board. They are also subjected to give the entrance exam NEET UG. Based on the same, they will be selected.

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. i liked my campus life especially the academic activities in which we were participated , commercio fista was organised by mba students where we installed our own lil shops in the campus and earned
we went for the industrial visits like mother dairy delhi, SEBI noida, KPMG and our batch got so much industrial exposue in my time
Our classes was full air conditioned and for mba students we have sepration seminar hall also we have incubation cell for the new start ups

Dislikes

strict rules for attendance, it should be 75 percent or above

i have done my graduation in 2024, in my 3rd semester placement was started that time our tpo was rajvardhan sir , i called so many companied in the campus for the placement finastra was one of then, i have cleared 3 rounds of finastra 1st was apptitude, then technical round then PI with HR in delhi office in feb 2024 i have got my offer letter and then july i have joined finastra just after my final exams got over, RIT and expecially members of placement are very proactive about their work , after 1 year in 2025 i went again in rit for the alumni meet my experience in rit was very good

The faculty members are supportive and approchable and the college provides opportunities for students to develop various skills.
I appreciate the infrastructure and learning facilities available on campus, along with peaceful environment of Dehradun.

Dislikes

The placement process could be made more transparent by providing students with more regular information about placement opportunities.
There is scope for increasing practical and industrial oriented exposure through more guest lectures and interactions with industry professionals.
Coordination and communication regarding some academic and extracurricular activities could be improved so that students recieve information well in advance and can plan their participation accordingly.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placement opportunities with students becoming eligible in the final year. Various companies visit the campus for roles in marketing, sales, management and other business related profiles. The placement cell also supports students through placements drives and career guuidance. Along with campus placements internships and industry exposure help students improve their employability. After completing my BBA, I plan to persue a career in digital marketing and gain practical industry experience.

I dislike dislike in this college is the administration, not so much good, and there are many things that should be improved like Hostel, et cetera
And there is no research culture, so the exposure is less has compared to the other other colleges all over India

The surroundings are really appreciated .But the only negative thing is tiediness in the campus
My college is very simple and its going in very smooth .Campus gives good feel to the students.Here people from out of state is also there so socially also it is good.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

Likes

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.

I chose this course because I have done my graduation in Statistics so this Masters's course has improved my profile and given me better opportunities for my career growth. Faculty are well experienced. Professors have done PhD in their domain and have a good amount of experience. Term exams are semester-wise twice a year. It is easy to pass if we study on a daily basis.

Other colleges I applied for- AFMC, PUNE All AIIMS specially DELHI AND RISHIKESH MAMC, DELHI VMMC, DELHI these are few top medical colleges of our country to get into due to their faculty, college environment, hospital setting, hostels, etc. I didn't get into any of the above because of my grades- I score 600 in Neet 2022 and I could only get into state colleges, so only choice left was to choose any college from uttrakhand and I thereby chose GDMC, dehradun. You need to qualify neet, ug and enroll for state councelling (Students having Uttrakhand state domicile or have done their 10 and 12 from Uttrakhand) or all India councelling (for students not having domicile or have not done 10 and 12 from Uttrakhand).
