Remarks

But the management was not very supportive and their is very less hostel facility.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE its all india engineering entrance exam.conducted by cbse (central board of secondary education).i studied in new delhi in a government school and side by side i prepared for this exam through self study as my parents are able to provide me financial support for coaching. but i took tuition class for chemistry, physics and for mathematics.

Internships Opportunities

We got internship in different psu's. I got DMRC(DELHI METRO RAIL CORPORATION)IPGCL, INDIAN RAILWAYS ETC.ALSO SOME OF US GOT INTERNSHIP IN GOLDMAN SACHS, JPMC, ETC

Placement Experience

One of the best college for placementwise many companies visits our college and it is like some of us got multiple jobs.Companies like (for core electrical) Tata power, reliance, bses, coke, ARM, QUALCOMM,MEHTA GROUPS, L&T, PEPSICO, AND MANY MORE

College Events

4.5

Annual fest, technical fest and many more. From cultural to technical fest it was like many colleges took part and some times we go to other colleges for competition and won many titles

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible. As it is a Delhi government (state government) university we have to pay just 42000 per year which very much less as compared to other private universities or colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

Education loan for students by SBI.There are multiple scholarship available in our college and anyone who family is not financially good can apply the educational loan from the sbi branch of our college

Campus Life

Everything thing from labs to sports was very nice. Every labs have good devices and equipments which are in running condition except some equipments in machine labs. But the staff in labs are very bad.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

3.6 out of 5. The hotel mess is economical but we ate the same food again and again for 3-4 years. That's why we have bored by the same food provided in the mess

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

They are very supportive For any doubts regarding subjects like which book to follow and borrowing notes from senior. Also one most important thing is about the placements like which is good.

Exam Structure

It is one of the toughest exam structure as in every year we have two semesters and in every semester we have mid-semester and end semester. In which we have almost 8-10 subjects, therefore to pass the exam we have to work hard throughout the year, but most of do just few days before the exam and just follow the notes in the end

Faculty

They are very good and supportive throughout the four years. Every time they came to our class and deliver lectures sometimes they we get bored but many times it was interesting. They also motivates us all the time.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
