Entrance Preview

IIT JEE and got 11447 all india rank - general category and got selected in DTU (opted for it) considering it ranks at top of all engineerring colleges (in india) in terms of placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

Semester system is there, I have already completed the 1st semester in electronics and communication. 2nd semester will start from 1st week of jan'16. Currently we are in midst of a mid term break.

Internships Opportunities

The general stipend received by students ranges from Rs 20000 to Rs 75000 for exceptional students (foreign placements not considered). For foreign internships the stipend is far higher.

Placement Experience

The college offers best placement opportunities. In fact this year itself, one of our students has got a salary f Rs 1.2 Crores per annum.

College Events

We are celebrating our 75th year of foundation in the month of feb'16, we are expecting big artists like atif aslam in the same. Sushant singh Rajput who is a senior from our college is also expected in this fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not expensive considering DTU (earlier DCE) being a govt college. Compared to othe rprivate colleges like Amity, Manipal, Thapar, VIT, Biral Pilani the fees is far lesser.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is available for students who get enrolled in this college but it was not required + availed by me (my parents).

Campus Life

There is enough and more opportunities in all aspects - including robotics, personality developments, photography, music, acting, dancing, mechatronics, machine learning, automation and control in our colleges. There are many clubs (societies) for these co-extra curricular activies.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni is strong for our college. Intel chip was developed by our college pass out, Pay TM owner is from our college to name a few. we get to meet them in the yearly fests - next one due in feb'16

Exam Structure

During the exams (both lab & theory), days are hectic. Other days are not as stressed out. We get enough time to participate in co/extra curricular activities.

Faculty

The faculty is superb, from colleges of repute. They have a good focus on transferring knowledge and imparting education to the students. Many of them are Phd's, others are post graduate from good colleges as a minimum.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Placement Experience:

Admission and carrier development cell is there in the college and provides good support but for average packages but for top packages only on your own self you have to grab them. One campus packages are between 3 lakhs 5 lakhs up to 10,20 lacs and highest once even up to 64 lakhs but off campus goes up to crore.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

FOT is the next IIT DELHI

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because of my interest in electrical and the faculty of electrical is very supportive about innovations and experiments, the curriculum here is based on the new education policy, they also teach financial literacy and english fluency which prepares you for the real world , they could improve the syllabus little bit ,it is slightly outdated . DTU- Place to shine your career and opportunities

When I had applied for JAC, I had option of NSUT or IIIT Delhi, but I had chosen this, as DTU has one of the oldest legacies, alumni network and college culture and all.
