Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed in a way to help students have a knowledge about the research areas and analyse the situation. Fisheries course help to sustain the ecosystems and equip the students as to how to deal with the problems.

Placement Experience

One area where the college can improve is in its placement cell. Complaints do visit but on a very rare basis. The internship opportunities are also limited. Students usually need to find something on their own.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is around Rs 12000 which is quite feasible comparing it with other colleges and the fees they charge. The Facilities they provide are at par with the college fees and is affordable.

Campus Life

The higher authority of the college ensures that students take an active part in extracurriculars as well as it will help them to hone their skills. There are many workshops, guest lectures and seminars concerning for and by the students.

Admission

The admission to the B.F.Sc course is done on the basis of qualifying examinations. The rank of the students is displayed on the college website. The final list is announced after the counseling session to make up one's mind.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is highly experienced and qualified. The teachers are highly motivated to teach and are absolutely there for us whenever required. Remedial classes are also held if we have some problems regarding a topic.

Placement Experience:

The placement in the college are average and students usually become eligible for campus placements from the final year or last semester.A few companies visit the campus for recruitment, mainly offering entery level roles in technical and non technical fields the average package offered is moderate and suitable for fresh graduates while higher package depends on the student skills and performance around the fair percentage of students get placed while others prefer higher studies or prepare for competative exams the college also give the basis placement training such as aptitude practice communication development and interview guidance which helps the students improve employment

I came to this college because of the best placement offers they provide.From the 2nd year which is 3rd semester our institution training is for placements. Reputed companies like mediccin, Harmony,apollo etc are collaborating in our college. Highest salary package is 21lakhs per annum. Average salary package is 15 lakhs per annum. More percentage of students are getting placed. My plan is to get placement offers from my college..then after that I am wishing to be placed with higher salary package.

I had applied for engineering, agri, veterinary and fisheries. I desired to be an veterinarian and my second go to option was engineering. I didn't prefer agri. During counseling process, i couldn't place in the veterinary so i chose engineering in chennai. I studied engineering for 2 months. Then I came to know about the counseling of fisheries stream. When i went to search about fisheries. I was amazed and surprised about this sector. Prior to this i didn't know much about this stream. This made me to discontinue my engineering and made me to purse my career in fisheries. My coutoff was not enough to be an veterinarian (my cutoff -190.5). The admission for fisheries is pretty much similar to agri stream. The eligibile subjects are Maths- biology and pure science groups. The admission process is through counselling. You must have scored 50% in your 12th to be eligible to apply for this stream....Read More
