Remarks

Lack of proper management in case of cleanliness in campus but overall the management is good.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE MAINS 104 marks,12th boards- 87 %. Took biotech because I was interested in research work after graduation. Also because I was getting admission in NIT which is a higly reputable institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Couse curriculum was overall okay with a bit less stress on practical work and on shop.

Internships Opportunities

As I am a new student studying in 1st semester of B.Tech. So i have never experienced the internship of the colleges ha but from seneres i came to know that our college provides good internship facalities.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement offers are good in our college as it is an prestigious college NIT and this year Rs 75 Lakhs per Annum offered by Epic Systems,USA so there is no need of worring about placements.

College Events

3

There are many events celebrated in our college at large levels like fresher party and many event is celebrate in this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible in accordance with the things offered. Although an hike would make it expensieve, especially for non core branches such as chemical and biotech etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Schorlarships are provided on the basis of cgpa and sports. I still havent achieved any of it loans on the basis of previous qualifications are helpful.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is approx 60-40 in most branches in favour of boys with the exception of mining and mechanical engineering. Cultural societies are many and quite helping which is a plus point.

Hostel Facilities

3

The mess food is simply disgusting, the rooms are quite spacious with generaaly a double sharing. Average rental in pgs is about 2000 for a triple sharing room, the life at PGs is actually better then at hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very supportive and helpful the little interaction that we had with our alumini was quite good. There is no ragging and any such activities due to which the atmosphere is quite friendly.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of collesge is good and nice especially in subjects like physics and english.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

Yeah ,the course in terms of comprehensiveness is really satisfactory. I have some issues with sequence of subjects which are covered ,but there is no compromise with the comprehensiveness. So I would rate good that too .

Placement Experience:

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl, bhel, bhel, reliance, catterpillar, eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
